John Calderon currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for Bison State Bank. John is a seasoned regulatory compliance professional with more than a decade of industry experience. In his role, he directs the bank’s comprehensive regulatory compliance program, including the BSA/AML/OFAC program, leveraging his vast experience from previous leadership roles at multinational financial institutions. John’s ability to navigate the complexities of banking laws and regulations is unparalleled and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and standards. In addition to holding a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago and an MBA from the University of Texas Permian Basin, John also maintains several professional certifications. His commitment to the compliance community extends beyond his professional role and is evident in his partnerships with numerous law enforcement agencies and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
